A distributor rep who we highly respect called yesterday to ask if we had interest in "The Book of Secrets". We had no idea what " The Book of Secrets " referred to, but we have enjoyed an occasional Harry Potter movie so we said sure. As it turns out, " The Book of Secrets " is a portfolio of California wines made by French wine maker and mogul Jean Charles Boisset. He owns Premiere Cru Vineyards all over Burgundy as well as Raymond.
The Book of Secret wines are intricate blends, made in small batches with designer names.
This particular offer focuses on the 2016 Chronology.

92 Points Robert Parker, review at bottom
The Chronology is a racy array of wild berries and red plums. Cherry, raspberry and succulent blueberry are all abundant. There is the perfect amount of enticing black pepper at the finish. This wine has excellent depth and structure, but it is not jammy, more rich and elegant. This is an exceptional table wine which will pair with virtually any meal. Pork shoulder may be our first try, but steaks will follow and definitely anything on the grill. This flavor profile will be incredible with smoked foods. Retail is $35.00 in Texas. We are getting a restaurant BTG deal. The lowest legitimate price we found was $24 in Ca.
