Last TIDBIT - for you Cabernet & Bordeaux drinkers, the Adaptation Cabernet yesterday....it is an OMG wine!! Cannot believe the emails and comments from those who had it or have tasted at the winery! A true crowd pleaser...as is this Brunello. Michele ```````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````` This wine has been in a lot of our tastings in the past and it always shows beautifully. And, we never complain when we get to taste it!! However, it is never priced right for us to sell. First time ever, the distributor cut us a break letting us offer it at $49.50 per (pretty much what we were paying wholesale in the past). This is the lowest price on the net. Average bottle is $61 per. Let me know if this is something you would like. M We have tasted the 2011 Nardi Brunello on many occasions. The Nardi is in Emilliano Montchiero's portfolio (Kobrand) so we have had opportunity to taste each vintage since the 2008. Each vintage has been beautiful. The heavenly structured tannins which are classic to 2011 has this Brunello already offering flavor profile combinations of both cherry and blueberry. The problem with the Nardi has been that it was never priced competitively in this market, until now. R Winemaker's Notes: This deep, ruby-red wine has intense, complex aromas of red fruits and spices, with toasty oak notes. The wine shows a silky texture, great finesse and profound flavors, framed by noble, velvety tannins. Though impressive now, this wine will benefit from aging. Pair with thick porterhouse steak or rich fish such as sturgeon or grouper. "Underbrush, red berry, scorched earth and dark spice aromas emerge in the glass. The structured, chewy palate offers mature black cherry, clove, ground pepper and star anise set in a firm framework of fine-grained tannins. Drink 2018-2028." Wine Enthusiast 92 points "A fruity, juicy red with dried-berry, strawberry and chocolate aromas and flavors. Full body with round, velvety tannins. Flavorful finish. The overripe character is a little dominating but it shows freshness. Drink now." James Suckling 91 points "A sweet core of cherry, leather and spice notes heralds this fresh, firm red. Balanced and long, echoing fruit and spice hints on the aftertaste. Best from 2018 through 2027." Wine Spectator - 90 points
